Programmable custom sensing windows and on/off presence detection are among the features that are said to make the U-GAGE T30 among the most versatile ultrasonic sensors available. The 30-mm diameter unit is also less than half the length of comparable units. Both switched (discrete) and analog outputs are provided in the sensor. A “teach” programming mode allows users to set custom-sized sensing windows and place them anywhere within a 1- or 2-meter range using the sealed pushbuttons. Users can also program the sensor from remote locations.
