Available in surface-mount and radial-lead versions plus an array of voltages and sizes, the company's latest line of polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) resettable fuses protect against over-current surges and over-temperature faults. The fuses do not require replacement after a fault, allowing the circuit to resume normal operating conditions once the power is removed. Furthermore, they are RoHS-6 compliant and address compliance with telecom specifications including UL 60950, FCC Part 68, and Telcordia GR-1089. Ratings are available from 16V to 240 Vac/Vdc. Depending on hold-current ratings, prices range from $0.10 to $0.45 each in production quantities. BEL FUSE INC., Jersey City, NJ. (800) 235-3873.
