Pressure Sensors Seek Intrinsically Safe Locations

Designed for intrinsically safe locations, the PT4400 series pressure sensors rely on a media-isolated stainless steel diaphragm for use in pneumatics, water management, hydrogen storage, hydraulic systems, oil and gas, HVAC/R, and industrial OEM equipment. The components carry ratings for UL/cUL 913 (CSA 157) Class I, Division 1, Groups C and D when installed with an approved barrier such as the company’s IM33 module. Constructed without welds or o-rings, the sensors handle pressure ranges up to 10,000 psi and burst pressure ranges up to 20,000 psi.
