Offered as an improved version, the ME501 piezoresistive ceramic pressure sensor now comes in a variety of pressure ranges from the new 0 to 0.5 bar and 0 to 600 bar. Manufacturing process improvements promise increased stability, consistency, and reliability. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +135°C, the component provides wide temperature compensation directly on the sensor. Accepting inputs from 2 to 30 Vdc, the measuring bridge is printed directly on one side of the ceramic diaphragm via thick film technology. The rear of the diaphragm can be exposed directly to the medium with no additional protection. Pricing for the ME501 is approximately $27 each for 2-bar versions and below and $25 for 5-bar units and above. SERVOFLO CORP., Lexington, MA. (866) 830-9572.
