With a shielding effectiveness of greater than 100 dB, the ElectroFab fabric-over-foam composite is designed to provide superior EMI/RFI protection at frequencies as high as 2 GHz. The composite employs silver-plated filaments for maximum conductivity and shielding performance. Tests indicate no flaking or loss of shielding effectiveness, even after 100,000 cycles. The gaskets are offered with a proprietary coating that provides galvanic compatibility with most mating surfaces. Closure force is 6 lb. per linear foot at 20% deflection, and compression set is 15% to 20% at 50% deflection, which is consistent with the surface contact requirements of ASTM 1056. A soft neoprene core is UL 94V-0 approved. Temperature range is -25°F to 212°F.
