The MIC-3033/5 rack-mount chassis provides five, 6U-high horizontal Compact PCI slots on a 32-bit, 64-bit optional, hot-swap compliant, passive backplane. Sporting a compact design, the chassis is only seven inches high. Its low profile is said to make the chassis ideal for use in the computer telephony integration industry.
Features include redundant 300-W power supplies, hot-swappable fans, and a device bay that can hold up to four devices including a CD/DVD-ROM, up to two hard-disk drives, and one floppy-disk drive. The chassis is fully compliant with the PICMG 2.5 Computer Telephony (CT), H.110 CT bus and front/rear I/O, and PICMG 2.1 hot-swap specifications. Pricing starts at $2,600 with a delivery time within 48 hrs.
