This line of magnetic card readers and Zip, Jazz and Superdisk drives can be mounted on exterior surfaces of control cabinets for safe, easy access while maintaining a NEMA 4 enclosure. The magnetic card readers feature RS-232 port powered, dual head, insertion readers with beam-mounted read heads for improved card tracking capabilities.
The units read magnetic cards with the strip facing up or down, and the magnetic strip is read during the insertion and removal of the card for more reliable readings. Zip, Jazz and Superdisk drives provide fast, easy, accurate and dependable transfers of data and programs while maintaining a NEMA 4 enclosure.
