In lead-free LGA packages measuring 5 mm x 5 mm x 1.5 mm, the LIS2L02AL and LIS2L06AL support two axes and exhibit tighter offset tolerances and improved temperature drift when compared to company's existing low-g accelerometers. The LIS2L02AL provides a full-scale output range of ±2g while the LIS2L06AL offers a dynamically selectable choice of ±2g and ±6g ranges. Both devices integrate a MEMS sensor and CMOS interface chip that provide two simultaneous, real-time analog outputs: one for side-to-side (lateral) and one for forward-backward (longitudinal). Other shared features include a typical resolution of 0.3 mg, power consumption of 850 µA at 3.3V, the ability to adjust the bandwidth via a single external capacitor per channel, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C.
