A greater than 50% size reduction from industry standard 5 mm x 7 mm crystal filter packages is reported with the Model ATFN6024A, a miniature 3.8 mm monolithic crystal filter. The device is specially designed for use in multi-mode phone, digital TDMA, two-way radio, and telecom infrastructure applications. The narrow bandwidth of the filter increases functionality and it operates in the 73- to 135-MHz range. It can also be customized for operation at other frequencies.
