Snap Switch Exceeds IEC Standards

Aug. 1, 2005
For harsh and contaminant-filled environments, the D2SW-P sealed subminiature snap-action switch exceeds the sealing requirements of IEC standard IP67. It is available in two ratings: 2A at 250 Vac for power switching applications and as low as 1 mA

For harsh and contaminant-filled environments, the D2SW-P sealed subminiature snap-action switch exceeds the sealing requirements of IEC standard IP67. It is available in two ratings: 2A at 250 Vac for power switching applications and as low as 1 mA for a logic-switching version for use with data circuits. The lower rating is achieved by the use of gold-alloy crossbar contacts, which exhibit a long operating life at low logic loads. Other features include a choice of four different actuators, three contact arrangements, and five varieties of terminals. In quantity, prices range from $0.60 to $0.90 for pcb and solder-terminal versions and from $0.80 to $1.10 for wire-harness components. OMRON ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, Schaumburg, IL. (847) 882-2288.
