The company has improved the performance and reduced manufacturing costs of its Series 40 solenoid-operated valves by employing new DuPont polymers for injection-molded parts and encapsulation. The new valves' solenoid assembly is encapsulated with Rynite PET thermoplastic polyester resin, while its coil bobbin is injection molded from Rynite PET, or DuPont Delrin acetal resin. The valve body is injection molded from Delrin.
