Disconnect Switches Tout More Reliable Performance

The Socomec disconnect switches product line has a new, modern design described as safer, more reliable and easier to use. Rated 600V and ranging from 16 to 1,200A, the product line is comprised of both fusible and non-fusible switches. The switches withstand ratings up to 200 kA, and feature double-break and visible contacts for enhanced safety. The easy alignment shaft head and handle design compensates for panel door sagging and misalignments. These designs are claimed to ensure trouble-free operation in the field and touch-safe covers are included as a standard feature among the fusible switches. The new line is UL/CSA approved.
