Intended for integration into MP3 and other media players, cell phones and general home entertainment controls, the MicroNav Ring is designed to provide quick circular scrolling and menu navigation in an easy-to-integrate, high-resolution, ultra-low-power package. The device is well suited for such tasks as controlling audio levels and balance, selecting menu options and items from long lists, and performing gaming functions involving rotating and steering. The MicroNav Ring, which is based on the company’s Force Sensing Resister (FSR), has a force sensitivity of less than 20g in the central 40% of the active area of the sensor.
