Targeted at the appliance and HVAC industries, the G5Q power PCB relay is small in size, but big in temperature and switching ratings. Measuring just 15.8 mm (H) x 20.3 mm (L) x 10.3 mm (W), the relay has an ambient temperature rating of 105°C maximum and a switching rating of 10A.
Rated UL Class F, the relay also boasts of low coil power consumption, meaning less power is needed to turn it on and, thus, smaller power supplies can be used. Featuring high isolation from coil to contact, the G5Q can withstand up to an 8 KV impulse surge. Applications are ovens, dishwashers and other appliances for controlling such loads as fans, lights and solenoids. Availability is from stock beginning in August. Prices start at $1.14 each/100.
