In addition to resisting external contaminants, the company's piezo switches extend their operating temperature range from -40°C up to +85°C for normally open (N.O.) types. The switches are now suitable for use in outside applications where extreme temperatures and temperature fluctuations may occur. They contain no moving parts, employ a sturdy metal housing made of anodized aluminum or stainless steel, are hermetically sealed, and specify a lifetime of greater than 20 million switching cycles. Piezo switches are available in standard mounting diameters of 16 mm, 19 mm, 22 mm, 24 mm, 27 mm, and 30 mm. Other mounting diameters, materials, colors, and shapes are available upon request.
