Thoroughly washable and immune to static, the 9-mm SK series PCB mount keylock switch sports a completely sealed design that lends to safe, automated processing, including wave soldering. During the automated assembly process, insert-molded terminals and a gasket placed between the base and the housing protect the keylock tumbler from contaminants. Designed for use in low-voltage, low-current, logic-level circuits, the switch has a maximum power level of 0.4 VA at 28V ac/dc. Equipped with crimped bracket legs to ensure secure PCB mounting, the switch’s bifurcated, self-wiping contact mechanism is said to have unequalled logic-level reliability and smoother, positive detent actuation compared to similar devices on the market. The positive detent mechanism gives crisp action for accurate switch setting.
