A new photoelectric sensor has been designed with a right angle lens for applications with limited mounting space. The OG 90 sports an 18 mm stainless steel housing with low profile mounting that can be installed in 28 mm of space. The sensor has pre-set fixed sensing ranges, eliminating additional programming and setup. Using red light technology, the OG 90 operates with a visible red beam to facilitate sensing alignment during installation. Models come in thru-beam and polarized retro-reflective versions, as well as background suppression for applications where shiny metals or bright white backgrounds must be ignored.
