Housed in a stainless steel vandal-resistant case, the P8V vandal-proof series pushbutton switch is said to offer the same precision tactile feedback found in the P8 series. With a variety of case, mounting and terminal styles and a mechanical life of 1 million cycles, the stainless-steel sealed switch is claimed to be suited for door access security systems, public transit systems, emergency phones, traffic signals, industrial and process control environments. Other key features include less than 20 milliohm contact resistance, trip point repeatable to within 0.001", watertight to IP68 standards, and suitable for low-level and 10A switching.
