Emphasizing significant noise reductions and refined cooler control, the Linear Multiplexed Array (LMA) family of lead salt infrared detectors employs compensation elements and optional cooler controllers to enhance measurement stability by up to 25%. The 256-element arrays are available in both PbS and PbSe material and exhibit cutting-edge sensitivity in the 1 µm to 5.5 µm region. They provide real-time measurement compensation for environmental changes. Measurement is adjusted based on a comparison of the six compensation elements and three active elements. Other features include built-in shielding and an optional cooler controller. CAL SENSORS INC., Santa Rosa, CA. (707) 303-3837.
