The new PXI-1045 18-slot chassis is targeted at test and measurement assignments requiring software configurable triggering, high channel counts, and tight synchronization between high-performance modular instruments. The cPCI-compatible chassis features a high precision, low jitter, 10-MHz reference clock with slot-to-slot skew of less than 250 ps for device synchronization. Up to 5,000 channels of 24-bit dynamic signal acquisition can be configured by synchronizing multiple PXI-1045 chassis with the company's PXI-6653 timing and synchronization module. The chassis has an operating temperature range of 0°C to 55°C and includes two BNC I/O connectors for importing/exporting system reference clocks. Pricing is from $4,475.
