With an accuracy of ±0.5?C, the DS7505 digital temperature sensor and thermostat integrates nonvolatile EEPROM that allows the device to power-up with a user-defined configuration and thermostat thresholds. Software and pin compatible with the industry-standard LM75 and the company's DS75, the DS7505 suits base-station, telecom, networking, and medical applications. The device provides a ±0.5?C accuracy over its entire supply-voltage range and a temperature range from 0?C to +70?C. It is ±2?C accurate over its full -55?C to +125?C operating-temperature range. Thermometer resolution is user-selectable in 9-, 10-, 11-, or 12-bit digital readings that translate to temperature increments between 0.5?C (9 bit) and 0.0625?C (12 bit). User-defined configuration options include active or standby state, conversion resolution, thermostat mode, output polarity, and fault tolerance.
