Available in 400, 800 and 1500 BTU/hr. models, these solid-state air conditioning systems are said to provide several advantages over CFC-based compressor systems. The advantages include: no harmful CFCs to leak or to be periodically replenished; low noise, vibration and maintenance; compact size and weight; low power requirements; NEMA 12 and 4X configurations; and custom design options. Designed for electronic and computer enclosures in harsh industrial settings, the 40-lb. Model AAC-145 running at 1500 BTU has a voltage rating of 120 vac at 4A.
