With a breaking capacity of 50A at 32 Vac/Vdc, the USF 0603 chip-type fuse is said to have the highest interrupt rating of any similar device on the market. The thin-film, surface-mount circuit protector also boasts of the lowest voltage drop and power dissipation ratings in its class. And with its quick-acting characteristic, the USF 0603 is well suited for use in electronic products requiring highly reliable over-current protection. The fuse comes in an industry-standard, 1.6 mm long x 0.8 mm wide package, is shipped in 5,000 or 15,000 piece reels, and is lead-free, including the fusing element. In volume, pricing is less than $0.20 each. For more details, contact Nathan Widger at SCHURTER INC., Santa Rosa, CA. (800) 848-2600.
