Forged for automotive applications, the A2S Series relays shield out the elements with a weatherproof shroud. With a switching capacity to 40A, the relays offer contact options of SPST N.O. and SPST N.C and coil voltage options of 6, 12, and 24 Vdc with coil power choices of 1.6W and 1.9W. Sealed and immersion cleanable, other features include a mounting bracket and quick connect termination (6.3 mm to 0.25 mm), a contact resistance of less than 30 milliOhms initially, maximum switching power of 630W, and a maximum switching voltage of 75 Vdc. Additional specs include an electrical life of 100,000 cycles with a mechanical life of 10-million cycles, an insulation resistance of 100 MegaOhms at 500 Vdc, and a dielectric strength from coil to contact of 750 Vrms minimum at sea level and 500Vrms contact to contact.
