Sporting a low profile of 40 mm x 56 mm, the 1U-high AP4056 series dc ball bearing fans address demanding thermal-management issues with 22.3 CFM of airflow via an unregulated 12V input. The fans draw a maximum of 15W of power and operate with a maximum noise level of less than 39 dB. Their reliance on dual ball bearing technology produces a MTBF of more than 50,000 hours in a typical 0°C to 40°C environment. Additionally, the fan series carries international safety-standard approvals, UL/cUL60950 and EN60950, as well as the CE Mark (LVD). Standard units are available from stock at a price of $14.71 each/1,000. For further information, contact John Byers at AIR PERFORMANCE TECH, Fremont, CA. (510) 440-3078.
