By combining transient voltage and EMI suppression, the V2F Series of TransFeed capacitor chips is expected to gain wide use in cell phones, pagers, computers, medical instruments, and other space-constrained applications. Boasting of the industry’s fastest TVS protection, these 0805-size chips have a “turn on” response time of 200 ps or faster. And in addition to providing greater attenuation at a higher self-resonant frequency, the devices also offer a flatter roll-off characteristic, resulting in EMI filtration over a broad spectrum of frequencies. The chips have a capacitance tolerance of +50%/-20% and span rated voltages of from 5.6V to 18V.
