The Flex-Frame bend-to-fit air filters have a flame retardant, polypropylene frame rated UL 94V-O that flexes to bend around obstructions or follow a curve. Designed to allow system designers more creativity in devising thermal management solutions, the new filters can be curved to fit into cramped quarters or snaked around a jutting component or other pathway-intruding barrier. The filters may be ordered with varying degrees of rigidity. The frame comes in thicknesses ranging from 0.03" to 0.12. A solvent-resistant, two-part epoxy bonding material is used to securely unite frame and filter media for added toughness. Cleanable, UL 94 HF-1 rated media is used for filtration. The filter line meets the stringent filtration performance and flammability requirements of Telcordia NEBS, CE and UL.
