The Caddy FMBS18 floor-mount box support positions the center of electrical/electronic boxes 18.5" above the floor-mounting surface to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Also complying with newer construction requirements, the support allows for mounting 4" or 4.6875" U.S. or 1.5" or 2.125" Canadian boxes. The box support can be mounted inside or under the floor track using mounting tabs, independent of wall-stud location. To eliminate the need for stocking different-sized brackets, the support is provided for use with 2.5", 3.5" and 4" metal or wood studs. ERICO INC., Solon, OH. (440) 248-0100.
