OCXO Aids Optical Switching Applications

March 1, 2001
Intended for optical switching systems and other Stratum 3 applications, the N45HP oven-controlled oscillator (OCXO) offers a 3.3-V PECL output at frequencies of 51.84, 77.76 and 100 MHz. Stability, including temperature and aging, is less than 4.6

Intended for optical switching systems and other Stratum 3 applications, the N45HP oven-controlled oscillator (OCXO) offers a 3.3-V PECL output at frequencies of 51.84, 77.76 and 100 MHz. Stability, including temperature and aging, is less than 4.6 ppm for 20 years.
Temperature stability is ±0.1 ppm over a range of 0°C to 70°C. Based on an FR-4 SMT substrate, the device provides complete hermeticity and measures 0.866” x 0.045” x 0.5”.
