Sporting both compact and robust IP67 (NEMA 6) packaging, the WORLD-BEAM QS18 three-wire, universal-voltage photoelectric sensors feature ac or dc operation. They provide 20 to 140 Vac/dc or 20 to 270 Vac/dc operation with a choice of P-MOSFET sourcing or N-MOSFET sinking solid-state outputs for faster switching and response times than mechanical relays. They also operate in light or darkness depending on the model and long-range diffuse models are available for sensing at distances up to 1m. Other features include 18-mm threaded barrel or base-mount, side-mount, and retrofit bracket options and a PW12 (1,200 psi) rating for wash-down environments.
