Extending the EZ-OP line of thermal-print mechanisms, the LTPH245 is claimed to be the first in the industry to have a lever-activated design for easy, fast and jam-free paper loading. This 5V mechanism allows paper installation in three easy steps: users depress a lever to pop out the platen, lay the paper in place, and snap the assembly back in. The mechanism measures 76.8 mm x 38 mm x 16 mm and operates at print speeds of up to 62.5 mm/s with a paper width of 2 inches. Other features of the thermal printers include quiet operation and a typical service life of 100-million pulses or more.
