Representing what may be an industry first, the JWL series molded, power rocker switches sport a TV-8 rating on top of their CSA and VDE approvals. All versions in the series resist dust with an interior seal of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) between the actuator and contact area and external insulating barriers increase insulation resistance and dielectric strength. The switches are available with integrated flat or barrier flanges and with black, gray, or ivory housings and barriers. Rocker cap color options include black, gray, ivory, and red. Optional accessories include a watertight boot and a dust cover. Other features include SPST, SPDT, DPST, and DPDT configurations, ratings of 16A at 125/250 Vac and 5A at 72 Vdc, and the ability to handle inrush currents exceeding 160A.
