Designed to protect I/O modules in Allen Bradley's series of control instrumentation, SAB Series surge suppressors use a pre-wired cable for quick connection to modules and are attached to the swing arm that connects to the I/O Module. The SAB-20LM is for 20-point applications and the SAB-40LM is for 20 to 40 point applications, providing protection from lightning induced surges, EMF fast transients, and EMI/RFI noise. Sub-nanosecond response time stops failures. Performance exceeds severity level 4 of IEC 1000-4-4 and 1000-4-5 while bringing equipment into compliance with ANSI/IEEE37.90 1-1989 and C37.2 1996.
