Designed to protect cable power passing tap ports and set-top boxes against power faults, the BBR550 and BBR750 are coated versions of the company's 90V radial-leaded PolySwitch resettable fuses. The BBR550 is available with a rated hold current of 550 mA and the BBR750 is rated at 750 mA.
Both devices are designed to aid in limiting current in the event of power-cross faults on the coaxial cable that may be generated by phase lags in a multi-phase power distribution system. The fuses are available in straight-lead or kinked-lead configurations and are supplied in tape-and-reel packaging.
