The MS 1000-CS-WC, a flexible, candlestick sensor, is capable of measuring both temperature and air velocity. It sports a narrow and low profile to minimize disturbance of heat flow, and a flexible, plastic-sleeved stem facilitates installation and repositioning during the test process. Multiple sensors can be quickly installed to thoroughly map a system’s thermal and airflow conditions, or a single sensor can be employed to eliminate errors that can occur when airflow is non isothermal. The sensor is calibrated for low (natural convection) and high velocity flows and measures temperatures from -30°C to +150°C ±1°C. Velocity measurements range from 0 to 51 m/s (10,000 ft/min) ±2%. The sensor's base measures 9.5 mm in diameter, and it is available in three heights: 9 mm, 12 mm, and 20 mm. Pricing starts at $150 each in volume. ADVANCED THERMAL SOLUTIONS INC., Norwood, MA.
