Well suited for use with small-form-factor connectors, the DX-Series Mini Round Assembly Cables are made with two color-coded buffered optical fibers that can be jacketed with a riser, plenum or a zero halogen type outer jacket. The cables contain either single- or multi-mode optical fibers, including higher bandwidth Gigabit Ethernet 62.5/125 fibers. A 900-micron buffer coating is applied over each optical fiber to provide excellent mechanical strength and environmental performance. The 900-micron coating is easy to strip, thereby resulting in faster access to the 250-micron buffered fiber. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation, applications for these cables include high-bandwidth data, audio and video transmission systems.
