The PR 750 series general-purpose LVDT position sensors meet a variety of end-user and OEM requirements for machine tools, materials testing, industrial robots, checkweigher scales, packaging machinery, valve position sensing, and hydraulic cylinder position. The ac-operated LVDTs are offered with a standard 19-mm diameter. They're available in full-scale measurement ranges from ±0.050 in. to ±10 in. The units offer a 0.031-in. core-to-bore clearance with the standard core supplied. Units incorporate glass-filled polymer coil forms for thermal stability and magnetically shielded stainless-steel housings that reduce the effects of any external ac magnetic field. They're environmentally robust and operate in temperature extremes from -55°C to 105°C. A frictionless design also gives these LVDTs unlimited mechanical life. Pricing starts at $60 each.
