In process applications that require a relay to close or open at a given pressure, i.e., tank farms, pipelines, in-plant, and other industrial environments, the AWI-PS wireless pressure switch allows users to collect real-time data and realize cost savings by eliminating hard wiring. The bellows pressure-sensing elements in the component employ a 316 stainless steel construction and offer adjustable pressure ranges from 0 to 5,000 psi. The design employs what the company calls a unique and sensitive switching mechanism that results in long life, repeatability, and lower dead bands. Available in battery and ac-powered versions, the switch includes the transmitter with integral pressure switch, DIN-rail mount receiver, and power source.
