In the Ultra2 3000 Series of low-voltage differential storage enclosures, designers will find support for 10,000-rpm, single-connector-attachment (SCA) drives at Ultra2 bus speeds. Featuring LVD host capability throughout the chassis, the enclosures enable users to enjoy high-speed, 80-Mb/s transfer rates as well as cable lengths of up to 12 meters. Standard 1.65" or low-profile 1" SCA drives are easily mounted in the the enclosures' hot-swap, field-replaceable drive trays. Configurations include two- and four-high tabletop models, an eight-high tower style, and an eight-drive rack-mount unit. The latter two are also designed to keep an eye on system temperature, power supply and fan operation.
