The HM61 series surface-mount inductors feature a class H design for operation at elevated ambient temperatures. They offer a wide inductance range from 1 to 2700 µH at currents of up to 4 A continuous and frequencies of up to 2 MHz. The low-profile parts have low dc resistance from 0.015 to 10.5 ‡ and sport high current-handling capabilities. They're compatible with vapor phase and infrared reflow soldering. The HM61 inductors operate from -40°C to 180°C. Available in 4.0- by 4.8-mm and 8.0- by 8.5-mm footprints, they suit radio interference suppression, decoupling in RF and IF circuits, dc-dc converters, safety devices, and automotive electronics. They're designed for machine placement. In 50,000-unit quantities, the HM61 inductors typically cost $0.49 each with a lead time of six to eight weeks.
