The P&B W51 series thermal circuit breaker performs double duty as a power rocker switch. Its compact, trip-free, rocker-actuated design is rated for 5 to 20 A. The circuit breaker has an interrupt capacity of 1000 A per UL 1077 and a resettable overload capacity of 10 times the rated current. Reset time is rated at 60 seconds. The breaker will continuously carry 100% of its rated capacity and may trip between 101% and 134% of its capacity. At 135% of rated capacity, the part trips within one hour. When specified with its optional indicator lamp, it can replace three components in a piece of equipment. The P&B W51 uses standard 0.250-in. quick-connect tabs for wire termination and snaps into the same cutout as many common power switches. The 5-A P&B W51 starts at $1.12 each in 10,000-unit quantities. Delivery is in four to six weeks.
