Wirewound Power Resistors Withstand Extreme Temperatures

Aug. 16, 2007
Tt electronics IRC's CCW series suits use in harsh industrial environments and commercial power supplies.

The CCW series of ceramic-core, axial wirewound resistors from TT electronics IRC includes power ratings from 0.5 to 9 W and can handle temperatures to 275°C. These rugged resistors feature a welded construction and conformal coating. They also can withstand a voltage rating of up to 100 V, suiting them for a variety of high-volume power electronics applications, including industrial environments and commercial power supplies. Resistances range from 0.1 Ω to 1.5 kΩ, with standard tolerances of ±2%, ±5%, and ±10%. Temperature coefficients of resistance are as low as ±300 ppm/°C at values of 20 Ω or less. Operating temperature ranges from –55°C to 275°C.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
Lead time is from stock to six weeks. Typical pricing for the CCW series is $0.011 each in quantities of 50,000. FOR MORE INFORMATION
