Designers have a low-cost option for networking operations when using the VF315 surface-mount oscillator. Designed in a J-lead plastic package with a standard footprint, the devices provide pin-for-pin compatibility with existing solutions. They offer a wide frequency range of 1.5 to 70 MHz and are available for 5V or 3.3V applications. Target applications include networking, graphics, applications and computers. Other features of the device include tri-state operation, duty tolerance of ±5%, stability options and operating temperature ranges of 0° to 70°C and -40°C to 85°C.
