Claimed as the world's smallest surface-mount quartz crystals, the 7.95 x 1.9 x 1.55 mm SSP-T6 Series of crystals finds application in a wide range of portable and handheld telecomm devices, including cellular phones and pagers. They are available in either ceramic or thermoplastic enclosures containing what are said to be highly reliable tubular-type quartz crystals. Packaged on tape-and-reels, the crystals are designed to provide a cost-effective solution for automatic-placement and surface-mount applications.
