Combining a high peak pulse current surge capability with a low clamping voltage, SM20MTxxC Series of transient voltage suppressor (TVS) arrays is especially well-suited for use in RS-232 and RS-423 applications. The arrays are designed to reduce crosstalk by 90% of similar structures, as well as peak overshoot voltages arising from fast di/dt rates associated with ESD and EFT (electrically fast transient) events. They are available for protecting eight or nine bidirectional data lines.
