The 286-304/010-000 pluggable relay module protects personnel and equipment in applications where safety is of utmost importance, such as chemical and refining plants. The module offers electrical isolation that meets DIN VDE 0106 part 101 specifications. These modules, which have one changeover contact, offer maximum flexibility while requiring minimum maintenance. A separator inside the coupling relay provides sufficient air and creepage distances between control and switching sides to ensure safe electrical isolation, thus preventing voltage transfer.Relay modules plug into two- or four-conductor terminal blocks, which use the company's cage-clamp connection technology to provide fast, secure connections for wires ranging from AWG 28 to 14. In the case of four-conductor blocks, it's possible to loop the negative electrical potential of the coil contact to provide additional cost savings.
