The shielding performance of the firm's spiral gasket is combined with the rain/wind/dust sealing of an elastomer in the Flexi-Shield EMI gasket, which is available in a very-low-force version. The gasket resists compression set and is as easy to handle and use as an elastomer. Made by wrapping a conductive spiral around a soft silicone tube or cord, the gasket comes in 0.063" to 0.125" dia., is groove-mounted, and flexes easily to conform to many different shapes. Shielding is up to 130 dB at 1 GHz.
