As much as 50% of the space in panels and wall plates is saved, it's claimed, when using firm's LC connectors. These small form-factor fiber-optic connectors feature the industry standard RJ-45 telephone plug and a audible click to ensure connectivity. Applications include telecom networks, LANs, data processing networks, device terminations, premise distribution and cable TV networks. The connector has a turnability feature for optimizing fiber-to-fiber alignment and maximizing performance. The duplex LC adapter is approximately the same size as a simplex SC adapter and when used with the SixPax panel, fits most LGX style hardware, making it simple to use in high-density applications.
