A series of high-stability crystals is suitable for applications in communications, security, telecomm and telemetry equipment, as well as in consumer electronics, automotive uses and medical electronics. The crystals are offered in four frequency

A series of high-stability crystals is suitable for applications in communications, security, telecomm and telemetry equipment, as well as in consumer electronics, automotive uses and medical electronics. The crystals are offered in four frequency ranges: 3.5 to 38 MHz (fundamental vibration mode), 20 to 105 MHz (3rd overtone), 50 to 175 MHz (5th overtone), and 70 to 250 MHz (7th overtone). All four AT-cut series crystals perform over an extended temperature range of -55°C to 105°C. Frequency tolerance is ±3 ppm at 25°C with frequency stability over the temperature range of zero to 60°C starting at 4.3 ppm. Aging is rated at less than ±3 ppm.Three package types are available: the standard HC-49/U; the UM-1 with 3.75-mm pin spacing and height of 8 mm; and the UM-5, which also offers 3.75-mm pin spacing but has a height of 5.8 mm. SMT configurations are also available.
