SMT Oscillators Keep Jitter Low

High-speed applications are the target for a line of 125-MHz, 5 x 7-mm surface-mount oscillators. The SM7700DY utilizes a third-overtone crystal design for ultra low jitter and 40/60, 60/40 duty cycle with tighter symmetry available. The parts have an input voltage of 5V at ±10% with 3.3V also available. Standard frequency stability is ±100 ppm over the operating temperature range of 0 to 70°C. The TTL/CMOS-compatible devices are packaged 5 x 7 leadless ceramic package.
